SCON faculty wins first prize in creative writing competition

JAMMU, Aug 31: Ritu Gupta (Associate Professor) of Stephens College of Nursing (SCON) brought laurels by clinching 1st prize in National Level online creative writing competition.
The theme of the competition was "What Independence means to me". It was organized by National Services Scheme (NSS) Campus unit in Collaboration with University of Jammu and sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. It was open to all participants like NSS Volunteers, Students , Scholar, Teachers, Alumni and Parents.
Ritu Gupta scored 100% marks i.e. 20 out of 20 and displayed her stupendous and fabulous creativity. She outshined in Hindi language category. The Adjudicator of the scripts was Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Film maker/ Creative writer , Director, Mumbai film Industry.
Dr. Kamal Saini (IPS, IGP Retd.) Chairman Stephens College of Nursing and Mrs. Satvinder Saini (Director SIPS) applauded her for the brilliant performance. They highly appreciated for her wondrous accomplishment.
Manoj Kotru (Administrator SCON) congratulated her for outshining and for making SCON proud. He lauded for her sincere efforts and hard work. Mrs. Muni Dhar (Principal SCON) and Kheema Peshin (Vice Principal SCON) also congratulated Ms. Ritu Gupta for her outstanding and magnificent performance and great success.
