VIJAYPUR, Aug 31: A delegation of residents from Shiv Nagar, Vijaypur met former minister Yashpal Kundal to project their issues. The delegation while narrating their tale of woes to Kundal, castigated all the political parties of ignoring Shiv Nagar. Ruldu, Sunita and others, who were part of the delegation said that Shiv Nagar that has been a victim of neglect for the last 25-30 years. There is neither any street nor any drain. The claims of development of the administration are only false narratives. People told Kundal that whenever any election comes, only false promises are being made by the politicians. After taking vote no one turns up to look after the needs of Shiv Nagar residents. After hearing the plight of the people, Kundal spoke to the district administrative officers on the spot and apprised him about the prevailinf situation in Shiv Nagar. Administrative officials said that a file is being prepared for the construction of Shiv Nagar lanes and drains and work will be started soon. Later, Kundal told the people that on every Wednesday a group of 10 people from Shiv Nagar should come to meet him. He himself will accompany them to the Block Office and ask the officials why the commission is being sought for constructing toilets, he added.
