SRINAGAR, Oct 29: Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Party (Nationalist) (DPN) officially announced the names of its candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections here.
A DPN spokesman said that the party president Ghulam Hassan Mir today gave its assent to the recommendations of the Election Committee comprising of Mr Kuldeep Wahi, senior vice president, S.Narinder Singh Raina, Zaffar Javed Ahmad Khan, Romesh Chander, Advocate Zulfikar Malik, Mohammad Ali Shaukin and Virinder Singh Chib, which was constituted to finalise the names of the candidates for the Assembly elections.
The election committee finalized the names of five candidates namely Ch. Abdul Razzaq Khatana for Mendhar, Ashfaq Ahmed Khan Rana, Surankote, Mohd Arif, Advocate, Rajouri, Choudhary Ghulam Rubani, Kalakote and Mohd Zaman Choudhary. Nowshera.
