GCOE organizes national webinar

Jammu, Aug 31: The IQAC unit of Government College of Education, Jammu, organized One Day National Webinar on NAAC in collaboration with GAP and GAAC. Faculty members from different universities across India joined the webinar. The resource persons for the programme were Dr. Gurudutta Jappee,one of the youngest NAAC peer team member and Dr.Preeti Oza, founding trustee GAP and director GAAC.
Dr. Kulvinder Kour Principal, of the college formally inaugurated the session. She emphasized on the fact that the College has always ensured quality work hence this webinar is another leap in that direction.
The college has been ensuring all possible measures to secure high ranking in NAAC
In the first session, Dr.Gurudutta Japee talked about in detail about ensuring quality in higher Educational institutions and how NAAC will be helpful for Colleges and Universities for Quality assurance .
Higher Educational Institutions should treat NAAC not as one time accreditation process but as continuous and Consistent journey towards Quality .
The session was followed by a detailed presentation by Dr. Preeti Oza, from Mumbai about the latest Criterion for NAAC.
She talked in detail about various matrixes and how to fulfill them.
The programme was organized by IQAC Convenor ,Dr. Mandeep Singh while the programe was conducted by Dr. Rajinder kour and Prof.Shalini Rana.
The faculty members who were present during the Programme were Prof. C.L. Shivgotra ,Dr. Jyoti Parihar , Dr. Neelam Dhar, Prof. K. K.
