| NC committed to peace: Suharwardy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT DODA, Oct 29: Unprecedented development, peace, progress and well being of the people of the state is among the top most agenda of the National Conference, said Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, former Minister and senior National Conference leader from Doda in a statement issued here today. National Conference if voted to power will usher a new era of development especially in far flung areas of the state, open new avenues of employment for the unemployed and offer better opportunities for the growth and development of the backward and far flung areas of the state which have suffered badly during the six years of coalition rule in the state. The coalition partners befooled the people of the state by their false promises and hollow slogans. He said Congress, PDP and the BJP have no agenda for the development of the state and only raise hollow slogans to befool the people during the elections. He urged the people to be watchful of the sinister designs of the political parties who during the elections make lot of promises, but do not deliver on them. He said the six years of the coalition rule have paralyzed the state administration with their mis-governance and the need of the hour is a stable one party government to steer the state out of the administrative chaos created by the erstwhile Congress-PDP government. |
