Sikh organizations express concern over non acceptance of Ayushman cards

JAMMU, Sept 1: An emergency meeting of various Sikh organizations J&K held under the chairmanship of S. Mohinder Singh Chief Organizer Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa society J&K and Ex-member District Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Jammu.
In the meeting it was discussed that Prime Minister & Health Minister Union of India were requested that most of the hospitals in J&K periphery or not accepting ayushman cards for free and cashless treatment. The said matter was taken up with J&K Government and the undersigned being Chief Organizer has received communication no SHA/AB-PMJAY/JK/2020-21/6380 dated 21-08-2021 from state nodal officer J&K for intimating the name of hospital for not honoring the cards the undersigned and all the members all really very thankful to the govt. of India for taking keen interest in the matter.
However undersigned has given the name of hospitals to the nodal officer who are asking the patients to come two days earlier before their illness. Association members were surprised to hear and see such a conduct of hospitals because how a person can know that he is going to ill or suffer with a heart attack so that he may go to hospital two days earlier to get the benefit of the ayushman scheme. Such a condition of the hospital to get prior permission is un called and members have requested the state govt. and the nodal officers to direct the Narayana hospital, Batra Hospital, Triveni hospital, Bee Enn hospital, Medicity and other to provide cashless treatment on ayushman cards with all medicines and tests to be conducted in the hospitals and condition of prior permission should be immediately desist to do the needful for giving quick cashless relief and treatment to the patients on spot. Association has also appeal the people that if any hospital deny them any treatment should contact the undersigned the mobile No. 9419191377.
