DCOE organizes faculty development programme

Jammu, Sept 1: Dogra College of Education under IQAC organized three days Faculty development Programme on ERP Software in the conference hall of the College.
The proceedings of the programme started with the welcome address by Dr. Shefali Sharma, IQAC Coordinator Dogra College of Education. In her address she gave a brief description about the importance of ERP Software for academic & Administrative work in present scenario and also ensured that FDP kind of programme should be organized for the enhancement of the skill among the faculty.
The resource person on the occasion was Angrez Bandral, Senior Section officer, DET. Three days FDP was attended by both the teaching and Non-Teaching Staff with an urge in their heart to learn and work on this software to be a part of the Digital India which is the need of the hour.
Resource Person aware the Participants by informing them that there are 20 Modules in this ERP software which includes Visitor Management, Reception, Student Management, Attendance, Fee Payment, Student Admission, Student info dashboard, Admission Counsel, Student denial, Bulk updates , Fee management, Exam Result analysis, Reports, Library search, Print Barcode, Single book Search, Book allotment, Book Return, Library Physical Stock entry. On the first day of the workshop, Five Modules were discussed which includes Visitor Management, Reception, Student Management, Attendance & Fee payment. During the Second of the workshop, Modules discussed were Student Admission, Manage Student, Freeze Student, Student Info Dashboard, Admission Counsel and Student denial. On the third and final day of the workshop, Module of Examination discussed were Masters, Exam Setting, Entries, Result analysis, Reports, Library Search, Print Barcode, Single Book Search, Book Reservation, Book allotment, Book Return, Library Physical Stock Entry.
Three days workshop concluded on a good note as the resource person is successful in providing awareness to the team of Teaching & Non- Teaching Staff and was off the view that we have to work as a team on this software to take our career and our college to the next level. Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, Principal DCE, in his address appreciated the efforts of the IQAC cell of College for organizing the Faculty Development Programme. After the FDP, Interactive session was organized in which Faculty put forward their queries which are solved in an effective way by the resource person.
A formal Vote of thanks was moved by Mrs. Indu Puri Senior Lecturer Dogra College of Education, who thanked the resource person and all the teaching and non-teaching staff for participation with full curiosity and dedication all the three days. She also thanked all others who are directly or indirectly involved in making this event possible.
