| GDC Sunderbani organizes poster making competition | | |

Sunderbani, Sept 1: Department of Physical Education and Sports of Govt. Degree College, Sunderbani, Rajouri organized an online inter-college Poster Making Competition on the occasion of “Birth Anniversary of Hockey Legend Major Dhyan Chand” in commemoration with Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Legend Major Dhyan Chand hockey player won gold medals in Olympics for India in the years 1928, 1932 and 1936. In this competition huge number of students from different colleges and institutes of India viz. DAV College Yamuna Nagar Haryana, University of Jammu, Indira high school kalakote and GDC Sunderbani etc. participated. The entire programme was organized by Mr. Ravi Kumar (Physical Training Instructor) and coordinated by Prof. Beant Singh (Punjabi) and Prof. Sheraz Kousser (Sociology). The competition was conducted under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Gupta, Principal of the College. In this competition the Students were provided with e-certificate of Merit and participation. In the competition, 1st Position secured by Rimpy Kumari from DAV College Yamuna NagarHaryan, 2nd Position bagged by Ansuja Devi GDC Sunderbani, and 3rd Position shared by 02 Participants Supriya from GDC Sunderbani and Vishav Kumar from Indira high school kalakote. |
