| NGO felicitates new Bar president | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 30: District Doda Youth Federation (DDYF) and Volunteers Organization for International Cooperation and Equality (VOICE) organized interaction cum felicitation function in the honour of Sunil Sethi President Bar Association Jammu.
As per press release K.C Dubey Director Doordarshan Kendra Jammu and Station Director Radio Kashmir Jammu presided over the function. Prof. G.M Bhat renowned geologist and Director Disaster Management JU, Abdul Majid Khan veteran trade unionist and President of All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation and S.S. Bijral Former IGP and Director General MTN graced the occasion as guests of honour. The programme was attended by a large number of intellectuals, Advocates, members of Bar Association, educationists, social and political leaders, students, youth and members of civil society from different parts of the state.
While addressing Gohar Hafeez Fani President DDYF and General Secretary VOICE highlighted the head and heart qualities of Sunil Sethi who has a dynamic service towards society at his back and described him an able leader and an Advocate par excellence. Fani congratulated him on becoming President of Bar Association and assured whole hearted support and cooperation from civil society.
Earlier Imtiaz ul Abrar Chairman VOICE welcomed all the guests and highlighted the commendable services of Sethi and described him pride of state.
Sunil Sethi in his address thanked the organizers of the Programme for this love and affection, the release added. |
