| Congress activists join SP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 30: Congress leader Ch. Mohammed Yonus Chouhan today joined Samajwadi party along with his 500 workers.
Yonus, president DCC Poonch announced his decision to join the SP here today after quitting his parent organization. While joining the new party, Yonus expressed his confidence in the leadership of Mulayam Singh Yadav and state president Sheikh Abdul Rehman.
Rehman while welcoming him in the party fold hoped that the party would be further strengthened in the state.
He also announced that Yonus and Mughal Hussain would be the party candidates for Poonch Haveli and Mendhar constituencies respectively. |
