JAMMU, Oct 30: Satwant Kour Dogra, former Customs Officer and Vice-President of People to People Awareness Forum (NGO), today joined BJP along with her 50 supporters at the party headquarters. She was welcomed into the party by BJP National Vice-President and Incharge J&K BJP, Shanta Kumar, State President, Ashok Khajuria, Member National Executive, Dr. Nirmal Singh and State Vice-President Suresh Jamwal.
Born in village Chak Manga Rakwal of Samba district who was appointed as District President of Trade Union Congress in April 2008 resigned from the party on land transfer row and joined Sangarsh Samiti Samba to strengthen nationalist forces in Jammu region.
Sat Pal, Purshotam Lal, Swankar Nath, Rakesh Kumar. Dimpy Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Sunil Sharma, Darshan Lal, Chuni Lal, Yash Pal, Anil Kumar, Bachan Lal, Govind Sharma, Ram Parkash, Mohammed. Tariq, Sanjay Pal, Aslam Ali, Shshil Singh, Ajay Kumar, Akram Ali, Ranjit Singh, Baldev Singh, Sunil Sharma, Vijay Sharma, Sunil Pal Sharma, Anwar Ali, Anjan Ali, Mushtaq Ali, Ashram Ali, Shashi Chib, Ranjit Singh, Deepak Singh and Neeraj Singh were prominent among those who joined BJP along with Satwant Kour Dogra. |
