| Band Tokri Main Samp staged as part of Saturday series | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 11: Lalded Women Welfare Society in connection with the Saturday series staged a play namely “Band Tokri Main Samp” in presence of impressive gathering including eminent citizens of the area.
Snake Charmers, Beggars can be found at street corners, on road medians, railway and bus stations, train, near popular tourist sites. Often beggars divide the areas among themselves and defend their zones with alacrity. Nukkad Play – One person (snake charmers) came to Natu and show the snake and begging for money. Natu says to person why you are doing and pack the snake in tokri (Basket) which is not good for snakes. Snake Charmers explain we are getting money with the help of snake to show the people. Natu explain to person, don’t do this, as per law you are doing against the law of India. Don’t pack the snake in tokri, snake also have some choice to live with freedom. He suggested the person you should work hard for income, not to pack the snake in basket. Snake Charmer keep the tokri and open it and snake move in the jungle where snake feel himself home.
The play through a message said that people should do the same and don’t give the money to such type of beggars. We should take action against the system and every people should suggest the snake charmers to do hard work for money. The performance was carried out by Karan Ranjha, Kanu Vaid, Varun Khajuria, Eklove Sharma and Naveen Pal. The purpose of the play was successfully delivered to their public. |
