JAMMU, Sept 13: Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor in the presence of Corporator Gopal Gupta and Ex MLA Rajesh Gupta, kick started the developmental work in Ward 5 by laying the foundation stone for the construction of lane and drain at khadeeka talab area in Jammu east ward 6.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that the developmental works were delayed due to the corona virus pandemic and lockdowns but now everything is back on track and the developmental work are being started and completed at a good pace for the welfare of the General Public. “It was an old requirement of the locals of babe walli galli as the old drain was damaged and open due to which it was causing trouble to the residents of the area. Taking this in account, development work worth of 17 lakhs was approved for the construction of drain and lane at khadeeka talab area in ward no. 5”, she added.
