| JKTJAC deputation meets Pr Secy Education, raises several issues | | |

JAMMU, Sept 13: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) led by UT President Vinod Sharma called on Principal Secretary School Education, BK Singh in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat Srinagar today.
While interacting Vinod Sharma raised the burning issues of the teaching fraternity which include inclusion of 5 years ReT period for seniority benefits, provision of comprehensive transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme as they have been working in the same schools for last more than 20 years, assigning DDO Powers of zone Marheen in Kathua and ZEO Doda as teachers are suffering due to non release of their salaries.
Principal Secretary School Education listened the deputation quite patiently in a cordial atmosphere and issued on the spot DDO Powers of the said Zones.
He also assured to consider transfer policy of teachers appointed under ReT scheme in next ATD.
Others who were part of the deputation included Sham Sharma, Sukesh Khajuria, Lekh Raj Parihar and Sandeep Sharma. |
