CUJ launches ‘Rachana se Mulakat’ programme

SAMBA, Sept 13: Central University of Jammu (CUJ) under the aegis of Department of Hindi and Other Indian Languages today on the eve of Hindi Diwas, launched a quarterly programme named ‘Rachna Se Mulakat’. The entire nation is celebrating the nectar festival of freedom. The ‘Rachna Se Mulakat’ programme is a constructive initiative in the same vein.
Keeping in view the Covid pandemic, the programme is being organized online on Google Meet platform. The first episode of the series ‘Rachna Se Mulakat’ was organized through Poetry Recitation and Meeting the Creator. The Convenor of the programme was Prof Rasal Singh, Head of Department of Hindi and other Indian Languages. He said that ‘Rachna Se Mulakat’ is a quarterly programme, whose aim is to encourage creativity among students and research scholars. He also informed that under this program a well-known author has written his own work. Along with this, communication between the author, research scholar and students will also be done. This will keep students curious about literature. Through this program, students will be able to get acquainted with contemporary creativity and inculcate literary culture and sensibility in them. On this occasion, the guest introduction and welcome statement were delivered by the Prof Rasal, Chairman of Department of Hindi and other Indian Languages.
As the first episode of the series of the said quarterly programme, today well-known poet, critic, economist and the present Vice Chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Vilaspur, Prof ADN Bajpayee recited his poems. After the poetry reading, while answering the questions of the researchers and students, he said about the process of creation that creation is a subtle wave and creation is a divine law.
Creation is related to experience and for creative work a beating heart is needed. The programme was successfully conducted by Dr Vinay Kumar Shukla, Assistant Professor, Department of Hindi and Other Indian Languages. The formal vote of thanks was presented by the Assistant Professor Dr Vandana Sharma. The faculty of the department, Dr. Shashank Shukla, Dr Vandana Sharma, Dr Arbind Kumar Yadav and Dr.Ratnesh Kumar Yadav were present in the programme.
