| Chander Mohan may join BJP soon | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 31: Chander Mohan Sharma, who headed the Praja Parishad, was expected to formally join the BJP next week. He said members of the working committee of Praja Parishad have unanimously decided to wind up the organization and rejoin the BJP.
He said as President of the Party "I took the decision to join the BJP after I received support from the majority of members of the working committee."
Chander Mohan Sharma met senior BJP leader and former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Shanta Kumar, here yesterday evening. The two were together for sometime where the modalities for re-entry of Sharam in the BJP were discussed. In fact Sharma had been persuaded to join the BJP by Arun Jaitly, BJP General Secretary and incharge elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sharma is expected to be re-inducted in the BJP next week when Jaitly would visit Jammu. |
