NYK Kishtwar organises awareness programme on Sanitation
Launches Cleanliness drive at Chowgan Ground

KISHTWAR, Sept 13: Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Kishtwar today organized an awareness programme at Wasser, Kishtwar on cleanliness and Sanitation besides launched Shramdan (Cleanliness Drive) here at Chowgan ground.
The awareness programme at Wasser was presided over by Block Development Officer (BDO) Mughalmaidan Arun Badyal and attended by Sarpanch Lachkhazana Ranjeet Singh; Sarpanch Padder, Jigmat Narboo; Ex. Sarpanch, Khusi Ram; Physics Lecturer Manoj Badyal besides local youth. The programme was coordinated and managed by National Youth Volunteers Veena Kumari and Rihana Banoo.
The participants were administered the Swachhta Pledge and the NYK Volunteers encouraged them to take the responsibility to keep their surroundings clean and give the best possible contribution to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Shramdan (Cleanliness Drive) was also started at Chowgan Ground Kishtwar along with local youth with an aim of generating awareness and greater public participation towards cleanliness.
BDO Mughalmaidan Arun Badyal and Sarpanch Lachkhazana Ranjeet Singh also spoke on the occasion and made the locals aware about the benefits of cleanliness and sanitation on health and the environment.
