Srinagar, Sept 15: Party Vice President Omar Abdullah today welcomed Apni Party Provincial Youth President, Jammu Gaurav Kapoor into the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference in Srinagar.
Welcoming the new entrant into the party fold, Omar Abdullah hoped that the new entrant will strengthen the party’s efforts for safeguarding the vital interests of Jammu and Kashmir.
“It is the youth that are the creators of J&K’s destiny in the coming decades and years. I heartily welcome Gaurav in our fold.
It goes without saying that NC’s ideology has always resonated with the youth of JK, and Ladakh,” he said.
Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Political Advisor to Vice President Tanvir Sadiq, YNC Provincial President Jammu Ajaz Jan, Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Provincial Vice President Ahsan Pardesi were also present on the occasion. While welcoming Gaurav Kapoor into the party fold, the functionaries maintained that the doors of the party are open for all those who want to contribute towards peace, progress and development in J&K, Ladakh.
Speaking on the occasion Gaurav said that there is no higher calling than serving people and that NC is the only platform which has assiduously worked for all the sections of society in Jammu and Kashmir. He vowed to work within the inclusive framework of the party and make the party stronger at the grass root level across Jammu province. |
