| Farooq visits residence of Wazir, expresses solidarity with bereaved family | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 15: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah today visited the residence of the former MLC Late S Trilochan Singh Wazir at Gandhi Nagar to convey condolences to the bereaved family.
Accompanied by the Provincial President Devender Singh Rana, the party president paid tributes to Wazir, recalling his contribution in strengthening the National Conference he said the vacuum created is hard to fill.
Dr Farooq Abdullah expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Later Dr. Abdullah also visited the residence of Provincial Vice President Jammu Late S. Darshan Singh Azad at R. S Pura, and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and participated in his Antim Ardas.
Former Minister and senior leader Surjeet Singh Slathia and State Secretary Rattan Lal Gupta were among the other prominent leaders, who accompanied Dr Farooq Abdullah to the residences of the deceased leaders.
Later in the evening, Devender Singh Rana, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra , Rattan Lal Gupta and others party leaders participated in the Antim Ardas held for peace to Trilochan Singh Wazir at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha at Guru Nanak Nagar. |
