| JU teams in pre-quarterfinals of Badminton | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 30: Winning their first two rounds, the men and women teams of University of Jammu (JU) have made it into the pre-quarterfinals stages in the ongoing North Zone Inter-University Badminton Tournament at Dr B R Ambedkar NIT Jallandhar in Punjab.
According to the reports reaching here, in the men’s section, JU defeated Punjabi University Patiala and in the second match, trounced Amity University NOIDA in Delhi.
The women’s team of JU also made it into the pre-quarterfinals stages beating Barely University and Kanpur University in the first two rounds.
Meanwhile, according to a handout issued here today, Department Physical Education, University of Jammu is conducting selection trials and screening for women volleyball team tomorrow at 11 am on the campus. |
