JAMMU, Sep 18: Delhi Public School Udhampur organized a webinar on reforms in MCQs. More than 32 Schools attended the webinar across Jammu region.
The Webinar was conducted to throw light on changed pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) new assessment and evaluation practices for the academic session 2021-22.As the evaluation practice is aimed to boost competency-based education
In the new assessment pattern, while the overall marks and duration of the examination remain unchanged, a greater number of competency-based questions to assess the application of concepts in real-life situations has been included.
Renowned Resource Person Arindam Roy Choudhary, Principal GD Goenka, Jammu conducted the webinar which was attended by dignitaries, Principals and around 250 Facilitators of J&K.
MCQs pattern was discussed in great length by the eminent resource person. Aspects like cognitive domain of Bloom's Texonomy, Assertion and reason type questions was brought into light to keep question paper in balance to offer variety for slow bloomers and for bright one's too.
Pro-Vice Chairman of the school Dr JC Gupta and MD of the school Vivek Gupta threw light on importance of such webinars for the growth of students and appreciated virtuous Principal of the School, Dr Kunal Anand for organizing such a utilitarian workshop.
