JAMMU, Sept 18: As part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu Zone organized a debate competition on the topic “Covid-19 India’s Response” at Police Auditorium Gulshan Ground Jammu under the Civic Action Programme here today. Students from different colleges of Jammu district participated in the debate competition.
Additional Director General of Police Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh was the chief guest and the DIG JKS Range Atul Goyal was the guest of honor on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest commended the collaborative work done by the police, doctors, civil administration and the people of Jammu in controlling the Covid situation in Jammu. He appreciated the sacrifices made by each member of the society to make the anti-Covid measures successful. India has achieved an unparalleled success yesterday by administering two crore vaccine doses.
During the competition 36 speakers of different colleges presented their valuable views and also spoke about India's response to the Covid challenge. Sakshi Bhat clinched 1st Position, Riya Choudhary 2nd Position where as Harsimrat Kour secured 3rd position. They were awarded with cash prizes of Rs 5000, Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 respectively with participation certificate. Participation certificate with memento were also given to all other participants.
