Anantnag, Sept 18: A policeman was hit and killed by a vehicle in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said on Saturday. They said constable Zadil Ahmad Bhat resident of Bandpahoo Chitragam was critically wounded when a load carrier hit him. The injured was shifted to local hospital from where he was referred to S K Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) . However, he succumbed, they said adding police has registered a case and initiated proceedings.
