| Symposium at MAM College | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 1: Universal Foundation, a social organization, organized a symposium at Government. MAM College Jammu on the topic “Formation of Jammu & Kashmir state and its accession with Indian Union” in which students from various colleges of Jammu participated.
Principal of the college Dr. MS Baloria presided over the function where as major Dr. Bharam Singh was the guest of honor.
Students from various colleges who took part in the symposium spoke at length on the occasion.
Bharam Singh apprized the gathering about the composition of the inhabitants of Jammu and Kashmir State based on the different religions and castes before the partition of India and its accession with Indian Union. He told about the role of Maharaj hari Singh, who has been often charged with having remained undecided over the accession issue long after 15 August 1947 and thus is made responsible for all that followed. |
