VC JDA, Executive Director IOC inaugurate Toilet block at RHC

JAMMU, Sept 18: A modular toilet block constructed under Corporate Social Responsibility by IOC in JDA's land Rail Head Complex, Jammu was inaugurated by Pankaj Magotra, Vice Chairman, JDA & Sujoy Choudhary, Executive Director of the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) jointly today. This unit shall be geo-tagged and hostel on the Google Toilet Locator so as to enable easy search and enhanced visibility on Google today. The toilet block is a modern sanitation unit constructed at a cost of Rs 20 lakh by the Indian Oil Corporation and comprises of a separate Ladies & Gents Toilets unit besides Caretaker unit.
Magotra, lauded the initiative of IOC and said that this facility will be highly useful for the visitors to JDA's Rail Head Complex which has a very high footfall and accommodates number of important Govt and various State and Central Public Sector Undertakings offices. On the occasion, VC JDA emphasized that JDA is committed to the multifaceted development of Jammu and is consciously and vigorously exploring the possibilities of involving Corporate sector in participative ventures aimed towards creating better infrastructure and public utilities for the people of Jammu.
Sujoy Choudhary also disclosed that IOC is planning opening of State-of-the-Art Retail outlets in J&K providing specialised ultra-modern wayside amenities for the tourists including restaurants, cafes, charging stations, CNG filling stations for which talks are in pipeline with UT Administration. VC JDA and the Executive Director IOC also discussed the proposal for providing of LPG supply through pipeline distribution system for its upcoming flats in Muthi and existing residential colonies.
On this occasion, Ajay Kumar Wazir, Dy General Manager, IOC, Er Sanjeev Gupta, Superintending Engineer, Er Vinod Gupta, Executive Engineer, Er Gopal Sharma, AEE besides staff of JDA, IOC employees of nearby offices were present.
