GPGCW Gandhi Nagar organises Alumni Meet-MILAN-THE REUNION

JAMMU, Sept 22: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Government PG College for Women, Gandhi Nagar today organised the much awaited Virtual Alumni Meet "MILAN-THE REUNION" which witnessed participation of over 100 former students. The event was held under the patronage of Principal Dr. Sangita Nagari. She welcomed the esteemed gathering and also congratulated the organising committee for conducting the wonderful programme. She highlighted that a strong institute-alumni bond not only allows institutes to benefit from the skills and experience of pass out graduates by offering their support to the current students and to the institution, but also benefits the alumni in various ways. Dr. Suresh Kumar, IQAC Coordinator, discussed the agenda for appointing the executive members of the Alumni Association of the college. The executive members unanimously elected by the revered gathering consist of Adv Radha Jasrotia (President), Dr. Davinder Kour (Vice President), Renu Nanda (General Secretary), Madhvi Sharma (Secretary), Sunita Bhagat (Joint Secretary) and Nishtha Mahajan (Treasurer). The Students and Alumni mesmerised the audience with their performances. The Alumni pledge of loyalty to the alma mater was read by Dr. Suman Charak. Formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Deepika Gupta, Convenor of the Organising committee. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr. Revika Arora and Prof Malti Rajput was the technical host. The other members of the organising committee were Prof. Sweety Verma, Dr. Manmeet Kour and Dr. Roopali Slathia.
