Alert Sounded
9/24/2021 11:24:36 PM
Intelligence agencies have sounded an alert that there is cross border movement of militants and they may carry out a major strike in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of festival season.
Despite there being a ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC), militants are not giving up their activities and are waiting for an opportunity to bleed India.
Union Minister of State (MoS) Ajay Kumar Mishra, chaired a high level security meet in Srinagar on Thursday. He was briefed by the top commanders about the steps that have been taken to check militant activities in the Union Territory and about the vigil being maintained along the Line of Control (LoC).
During the past two years situation in J&K has improved as the security forces are having an upper hand over militants and recruitment of local militants has declined. But militant handlers sitting across the LoC are not giving up. They are making desperate attempts to keep the pot boiling and seem in no mood to relent.
There are reports that militant launch pads across the LoC are full and the militant bosses are making every possible attempt to push ultras into this side.
The intel agencies sounding an alert means that militants are cooking up something and they may try some misadventure in coming days. The security forces are on high alert and are maintaining a tight vigil. But if there is any terror attack, Pakistan knows it very well that India will hit back hard. However, one cannot discount the fact that the terror bosses run a parallel government in Pakistan as politicians are nothing more than puppets.
History stands testimony to the fact that Pakistan has always backstabbed India and it cannot be trusted. So the guard cannot be lowered and if the neighbouring country makes any attempt to indulge in any kind of misadventure it needs to be repelled.
After Narendra Modi taking over as the Prime Minister of the country, India’s policy has been clear that “talks and terror” cannot go together and if anyone tries to bleed India he will have to repay. Surgical strikes and Balakot air strikes have sent a clear message to Pakistan that no nonsense will be tolerated. And no one will be allowed to even look towards our country. If the militants indulge in any sort of misadventure they along with the country that supports them will have to pay a heavy price.
