| PCC block president Kupwara joins NCP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 2; Pradesh Congress Committee received a set back today when its block president Kupwara and PCC member Saifullah Khan along with his 500 supporters resigned from the party and joined Nationalist Congress Party in presence of Tariq Anwar National General Secretary NCP.
Speaking on the occasion, Khan said that Congress leadership in Kashmir has neglected the genuine Congressmen in the allotment of tickets as a result of which he has decided to part away from the Congress party with which he was associated for nearly 38 years. |
