| Bajwa launches election campaign | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 2: National Conference candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency S.Tarlocan Singh Bajwa today formally launched his election campaign by organizing a public meeting at Salaryara Basti, Bawa.
Addressing the gathering, Bajwa reminded about the policies and programmes of the NC and said that it was only party which guaranties unity, development and progress in the state.
Bajwa said that the coalition government has altogether failed on all fronts so much so the promises made to the public were left unattended as a result of which the people want a change. He asked the gathering to vote for NC which is committed to equitable development of the state.
Rampal, former minister and Jamit Raj Basotra SBC Vice president were also present on the occasion.
Several people are reported to have joined the NC on this occasion. |
