| ABVP to organize “Vidyarthi Chetna Yatra” | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 2:1 Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad is going to organize “Vidyarthi Chetna Yatra” from November 3rd from Kishtwar and Poonch and will cover all the colleges and higher secondary schools of Jammu region. This will be followed by a day long state conference in the winter capital in which students from all over the state will participate.
Addressing media persons here today, ABVP activist stated that the main aim of organizing yatra is to raise the basic educational problems being faced by the student community in the state.
He further said that ABVP demands separate competent authority for equal sharing of seats in professional colleges like MBBS and Engineering, besides introduction of new subjects, labs, and permanent staff in the colleges. |
