| DC Rajouri inaugurates Boxing trials under Khelo India | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Sept 28: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today inaugurated the Boxing trials under Khelo India here at Sports stadium Kheora.
ASP, Vivek Shekhar; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir and concerned officers and officials of the sports stadium Kheora were present on the occasion. Interacting with the participants, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the importance of sports for the well being of an individual.
He said that success and defeat are the two aspects of sports but the spirit of sportsmanship teaches many things in life.
The DC said that the District Administration is committed to take all possible measures for the promotion of sports culture, creation of sports infrastructure and for providing the best opportunities to budding talent. “The process of constructing playfields in every Panchayat has been started to engage the youth in sports-related activities”, the DC informed. |
