JAMMU, Sept 28: One day training programme entitled “Transfer of Technology for Management of Alternate Bearing Problem through Hormonal Intervention in Mango Varieties at Jammu Region” was organized at Sungal lower B, Villi-nalli basti, Sungal, Akhnoor by NABARD Jammu and Division of Plant Physiology, Faculty of Basic sciences under the aegis of SKUAST – Jammu.
Farmers from villages Sungal and nearby participated in the programme. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma, AGM (DDM-R), NABARD–Jammu and Kashmir delivered a lecture on various programmes launched by NABARD in favour of farmers. Dr Bhav Kumar Sinha, PI of the project, delivered a talk on “Alternate Bearing in Mango” and gives training for orchard management and preparation of pits around the trenches of mango trees. |
