JAMMU, Nov 3: Pradesh Youth Congress vice president Rajinder Singh (Pinky) along with other party leaders, who visited several areas of Marh were told by the locals that a large area under sugarcane cultivation in the entire Shamachak block has suffered damages due to untimely heavy rains and windstorms.
The youth leaders while highlighting the woes of the farmers have demanded grant of adequate compensation for the losses suffered by them.
On this occasion, several youth of the area are reported to have joined the YC who were welcomed by the vice president. |
