| Voters lists in English, Hindi are not available, alleges JKNPP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 3: Expressing serious concern over the way the elections are being conducted in Jammu and Kashmir, Panthers Party today alleged that voter lists in Hindi and English languages were not available in the Chief Electoral Office so much so the names of even thousands of voters of Jammu region have been arbitrarily deleted from the electoral rolls without any intimation to the voters. In a emergency meeting held here today, the Panther leaders expressed their dismay that voters do not know till date whether heir names exist in the voter lists or not and asked what sort of free and fair election it could be called. The party has urged upon the Chief Election Commissioner to ensure immediate provision of voter lists in Hindi and English languages with inclusion of all eligible in these. |
