| Protests in city against blackouts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 3: Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha Mandal President Sanjeev Gupta along with large number of members of BJYM East held a protest demonstration against Power Development Department (PDD) and burnt the effigy of Chief Engineer. The protest was held against load shedding and power blackouts causing grave hardships to the public, especially jeopardizing the educational careers of the youth.
Sanjeev Gupta warned that they would launch strong protest against PDD if the power cuts were not stopped.
The protest demonstration was also joined by Link Road Bazar Association President Surinder Saran, Paharian Mohalla Association President Anil Gupta, Raj Tilak Road Association President R.C. Gupta and Vice-President Shashi Kapoor. |
