10/3/2021 11:03:14 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 3: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) J&K UT President, Rafiq Malik on Sunday criticized the misgovernance of BJP government due to which common masses are feeling cheated. He blamed the government for failing to tackle increasing prices of fuel and other essentials and making life difficult for the common man. This was stated by Malik while addressing new entrants who joined Lok Janshakti Party leaving their political parties. Those who joined LJP include Raman Singh Jamwal, Ramesh Singh, Sushil Goswami, Mohd Idries, Sanjay Kumar, Ravinder Kumar and Naveed Ahmed. Welcoming new entrants, he said "who are feeling suffocated because of anti-Jammu policies must come out and join Lok Janshakti Party so that the lost honour of the Jammu and Kashmir can be restored," he said.
Speaking on the occasion, Malik said whoever raises his or her voice has to bear the brunt of the Government's anger. He said by increasing the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinders again, the Modi Govt has made it clear that it was not concerned about the problems of the common people.
Malik expressed dismay over the lack of any major initiative to boost the economically distressed region. There is nothing about employment in J&K. There are no efforts to create job opportunities in the wake of large scale unemployment and retrenchments due to wrong economic policies of the BJP government. The Government must come up with a clear road map to deal with the issue of unemployment, he added.
Prominent among those present on the occasion include R.P Singh LJP JKUT Gen Secy, Sanju Bhagat LJP JKUT Secy, Qadir Malik LJP JKUT Gen Secy, Mulkh Raj LJP President Labour Cell, Tilak Raj LJP Gen Secy Labour Cell, Ajay Raina JKUT Secy Labour Cell and several others.
