BJP govt’s performance pathetic, people suffering to hilt: Hari Singh
10/3/2021 11:14:51 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 3: BJP Government has attained expertise in making big claims but on ground its performance is dismal with people suffering on all counts as civic edifice, healthcare, education, employment, tourism, businesses are all passing through an abysmal phase.
This was said by Hari Singh Chib, President DCC Jammu Rural during a meeting with the people of Raipur-Domana area. Rajni Bala Corporator Ward No 60 was also present in the meeting.
At the outset, the prominent people of the area present in the meeting raised several issues pertaining to the dearth in civic edifice especially roads, lanes, PHE infrastructure, contaminated water supply, etc.
They said that despite tall claims by the BJP representatives and the government which is indirectly being steered by the Centre’s Modi Government, the situation with regard to amenities and public utility services in the region is pathetic. After listening to the plight of people, Hari Singh Chib said that the people have made a big mistake by voting to power the BJP and the need of the time is to root it out as soon as possible and install Congress Government to ensure good governance in the country. He said that BJP cannot offer anything except big hollow promises like bringing back black money, eradicating corruption, teaching a lesson to China and Pakistan, etc.
Chib however assured the people of the area that he will mount pressure on the helmsmen to ensure the facilities which the locality is lacking shall be made available sooner than later.
Endorsing the points raised by Hari Singh Chib, Corporator Rajni Bala said that there is huge shortage of funds as mismanagement is ruling the roost with accountability nowhere in sight. She expressed her dismay and disability to work for the people in absence of adequate funds and proper assistance from those manning the affairs of Jammu.
Rajni Bala said that the moment she will get the funds, she will immediately take up pending works but till the time BJP leadership is reluctant to give sufficient funds she is bound to sit idle and see the people of her ward facing hardships and bad times.
