| AWA felicitates Anila Charak | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 4: To honour Anila Singh Charak for her recently awarded book ‘Nangay panch jawan’ by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Artists Welfare Association, Jammu organized a felicitation function at K L Sehgal Hall here today.
Former minister and veteran Congress leader Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma was the chief guest while Ved Mahajan, MLC presided over the function. Additional secretary of the Academy Savita Bakshi was the guest of honour.
Baljeet Singh Raina presented a paper on the book.
On this occasion, a musical recital on the poetry of Charak was also organized by Jeewan Sharma, a noted singer of the state. |
