POONCH, Nov 4: National Conference, after coming to power, will take the state towards an era of peace, progress and prosperity said Aijaz Ahmed Jan, party candidate from Poonch Haveli Constituency, while addressing series of public meetings here today.
He said National Conference will usher a new era of development especially in far flung areas of the state, open new avenues of employment for the unemployed and offer better opportunities for the growth and development of the backward and far flung areas of the State like Poonch which have suffered badly during the six years of coalition rule in the state.
"People of Poonch are facing lot of difficulties and the credit for that goes to Congress-PDP coalition government. He said it was the "gift" of Congress-PDP government that people here in Poonch were deprived off basic essentialities.
He said National Conference will strive hard to resolve the issues like unemployment, electricity crisis, water problem and will provide better educational facilities, health care facilities, infrastructure, road connectivity etc, with which the area remained deprived off during the six years of coalition rule.
He promised that if elected to the legislature he will work untiringly for the Poonch constituency and finish the un-finished agenda of his late father Ghulam Mohammed Jan that he had chalked out for the development of the constituency.
He urged the people to come forward and strengthen the hands of National Conference and its leadership. |
