Course on communication skills, behaviour concludes at SKPA Udhampur

UDHAMPUR, Oct 9: One week course on "Developing Good Communication Skills, Behaviour, Attitude and Responsibility towards General Public" which commenced in Sher-e- Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur on October 4 concluded today.
The valedictory address was delivered by Vinay Kumar, SSP, Dy Director (Admn). During the course various guest faculties from IIT Jammu, Central University Jammu, Government Degree College Udhampur, SMVDU and IIMC Jammu shared their valuable knowledge and experiences on Good communication skills, stress and time management for self leadership, role of media in building relations between Police and Public, as well as on other topics of psychology. The course remained quite interactive based on play way methods, self analysis through queries and activities. Vinay Kumar, SSP, cited examples of good communication, its dividends in the light of frame work of laws. He also put the participants to an exercise which was inspiring. The audience was informed that holding such courses is the endeavour of DGP J&K and unrelenting efforts of Director of the Academy.
The valediction was also attended by Suraj Singh, DySP, AD (Trg/R&D). The course was coordinated by Sunmati Gupta, DySP AD (Admn) and Sanjeev Gupta, Inspector.
