JAMMU, Nov 4: Although Chandpreet showed some résistance but could not do much as the women team of the hosts University of Jammu lost to Punjab University Chandigarh 0-3 in the second round of the North Zone Inter-University Table Tennis Championship underway at Indoor Hall, University of Jammu, here today.
Except for Chandpreet Kour, other two team members could not do well against their opponents and lost their respective games in straight sets.
Chandpreet fought for every point while taking on Bhavana in a game that stretched to full five sets but could not make it a win. The score (in favour of Bhavana): 13-11, 7-11, 11-9, 9-11, 11-8.
