| 2 HC Judges being sworn in today | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 4: Advocate M H Attar and the senior most Sessions Judge Vinod Gupta will take oath as Additional Judges of the State High Court on tomorrow at Srinagar Wing of State High Court.
The oath will administered by the Acting Chief Justice Nissar Ahmed Kakru at 3.30 PM in the High Court Complex Srinagar as per High Court sources.
Adv M H Attar born on January 30, 1955, did his graduation from Anantnag College in the year 1975 and law in the year 1977, registered as pleader in the month of September 1977 and as Vakil in the year 1981, thereafter enrolled as an Adv in the year 1985, appointed as Additional Advocate General from 1997 to 2002 also appointed as Special Public Prosecutor in various cases of disproportionate assets.
Vinod Gupta born on January 18, 1950, did his graduation in 1969 from J&K University and LL.B from Delhi University in the year 1972 and enrolled as an advocate, started practice in the J&K High Court, passed KCS (Judicial) Examination in the year 1977 and appointed as Munsiff on January 27, 1978, promoted as Sub-Judge in the month of August 1985 and appointed as District & Sessions Judge in the month of August 1997 and remained posted as various posting including Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice and Registrar General of J&K High Court, presently Judicial Member in the J&K Special Tribunal Jammu.
