| Sahir Ludhianvi remembered | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 5: Glowing tributes were paid in memory of famous Bollywood lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi at a poetic meet of Adbi Kunj held here today. Writers and poets assembled on the occasion spoke high of the late Ludhivani and his contribution to the poetry through his thoughtful creativity.
In the story session Zeenat Firdous read her short story titled ‘Footpath’. Muni Lal Puri presented urdu sketch ‘Chunav-Kal Aur Aaj’ while Babli Zutshi read here short story ‘Main Ek Patang’. All these presentations were discussed in detail and while appreciating these some useful suggestions were also made to the writers.
In the poetic session those who read their poems, ghazals etc included Nirmal Bhardwaj, Susheel Begana, Talib Kashmiri, Maharaj Krishen, Rajeshwar Bhakri, Jaswant Singh, Rajeev Kumar, Muni Lal Puri and Sham Talib. |
