SRINAGAR, SEPT 13: A Rashtriya Rifle (RR) personnel was killed when militants ambushed 49 RR patrol in South Kashmir’s
Qazigund town late Tuesday evening, reports said.
According to the reports reaching KPS, soldier Rangraz. Singh (belt no. 1188) of 49 RR was killed when militants opened fire on 49
RR patrol at Brenil Lamard in Qazigund late Tuesday night. Troops of the RR retaliated but the militants escaped, reports said,
adding that the area was cordoned and a manhunt was on to nab the militants.
