| SDP releases manifesto | | Nominees denied security: Darakhshan | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 5: Socialistic Democratic Party president Dr Darakhshan Andrabi Wednesday accused the state government of not providing adequate security to their party candidates, who have risked their lives before agreeing to take part in the elections Addressing a press conference here in Jammu Dr Andrabi also expressed her anger as one of her party candidate from Poonch Gursagar Singh has been entertained as an independent candidate by the returning office due to delay caused in receipt of party mandate letter. On the occasion, the SDP chief also released her party’s election manifesto. Reiterating its nationalist stand the party has inscribed its party motto “Hum Hindustan Se Hain, Hindustan Hum Sey Hai” SDP vows to address to the problems of the migrants of 1947and the migrants of militancy period including the mass migration of Kashmiri Pandits. The party advocates for the job securities to migrants before forcing them back to their original places. The party promises ‘Industrial and Economic Revolution’ for the state to cope up with the biggest problem of the state: unemployment and economic backwardness, besides providing industry status for agriculture in the stat and crop insurance facility to the farmers. |
