| NC cares for SCs, STs: Ram | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 5: Vision Document as conceived by the National Conference shall be a step ahead to do away with the issues of poverty, illiteracy, backwardness, lack of infrastructure, unemployment, disease and other bottlenecks in the road to progress, said Ram Paul, former Minister and Chairman SC BC Cell of J&K National Conference. Ram Paul who was addressing a meeting of the working committee of the SC /BC Cell of the party here today at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, endorsed the agenda of governance for J&K conceived by the party. "National Conference is committed for development of each and every section of the society irrespective of caste, creed and colour and in this endeavor. I urge the people of the state to come forward and strengthen National Conference and its visionary leadership, who always stood by them", he said. He said parties like BSP have no political and social agenda for the people of the state and are just raising hollow slogans to befool the masses. He said the people are wise enough to see through their gimmick. The meeting was among others addressed by Brij Mohan Sharma, Ex-MLC, Th. Kashmira Singh, ex-MLC, Gurdeep Singh Sassan, Jugal Mahajan and others. Among others who were present on the occasion included Rajinder Chanyal, Om Dhanlotra, Tara Chand, Charan Dass, Subash Chander, Sham Lal, Balak Ram, S.D.
