KATHUA, Nov 6: To prevent annoyance to general public and disturbance of public tranquility, Additional District Magistrate, Kathua, Daulat Ram Sharma, in exercise of powers vested in him under Section 144 of Cr. P.C,. declared 300 meters area around Mata Vaishno Devi mandir Langerial Dayalachak, Hiranagar as dry area and prohibiting drinking of alcohol except in the Bar room of Tourist Dak Bunglow Dayalachak, eating of meat, use of tobacco and narcotic drugs etc, performing of funeral rites except in cremation ground, parking of vehicles at Mandir site or in its way.
Any body violating this order shall be prosecuted under section 188 of Ranbir Penal Code. The Order shall remain in force for a period of two months. |
