More non locals left, while few open their stall in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 19: While more migrant labourers left Kashmir on Tuesday, many non locals erected their stalls in various parts of the Kashmir valley with a hope to earn their livelihood.
Many non local labourers were seen carrying their luggage boarding cabs and taxis at Srinagar’s Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) to move for Jammu where from they reach to their respective destinations in trains. A few families were also seen with children boarding buses at TRC in the cool morning.
Ashish Kumar, a labourer from Bihar was talking to their family members on phone assuring them that he had boarded a cab to leave out of the valley for Jammu. “I will come back to Kashmir soon if the situation allows”, he said and added “my family members worried about my well being following the killing of several non locals here”.
Many elderly people wearing warm clothes in the cool morning had boarded a bus eagerly waiting for its departure at TRC here.
Zubair Ahmad a mason by profession from Uttar Pradesh said he had left work mid way here with my money still with the owner as fear of psychosis of my well being among my family and myself forced me to leave to my native village for the time being. “ I am earning here bread and butter for the past 12-years, labourers are being paid here good amount for their work”, he said and added “Kashmir is our next home, we have to come back as soon as the situation gradually improves”, he added
Meanwhile, many non locals on Tuesday erected their stall on the side selling Pineapple juice, smoked Corn and Coconuts.
Manoj Paswan a vendor from Lakhipora Bihar was selling Pineapples and Coconuts at Hazratbal shrine where hundreds of people had gathered on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-Un-Nabi celebrations.
