| DDC for adherence to model code of conduct | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
BHADERWAH, Nov 6: The District Election Officer, Doda Syed Sharief-ud-Din today convened a meeting of representatives of all the political parties to discuss the model code of conduct.
The DEO appealed the representatives to strictly adhere to the model code of conduct in letter and spirit and all the political parties must intimate the time, venue and date of the meetings being addressed by senior political leaders well in advance for providing appropriate security arrangements. They should also intimate the schedule route of their processions being taken out.
The representatives assured the DEO that they will observe the instructions being convened by the Election Commission of India while electioneering from time to time regarding election expenditure and defacement of property Act. |
