| Anti SC/ST/OBC policies of LG admin exposed: Karan Bhagat | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 19: Karan Bhagat, Chairman Scheduled Caste Department Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Jammu & Kashmir has attacked BJP, LG administration and Modi government for being anti-Dalit.
Bhagat referred to the order issued by LG administration which has been specially amended to harass the downtrodden community in this post Covid-19 Pandemic era, where this downtrodden community is already facing hardships due to non-availability of livelihood earning means.
The order clearly mentions that loan cases under “Direct Financing Scheme” of the Corporation, the borrower for the disbursement of loans by the J&K SC, ST & BC Development Corporation has to obtain mortgage or with government employee guarantee on collateral.
He said that this is for the first time in the history of Jammu & Kashmir that the downtrodden community has to go through such a stringent requirement which normally a member of SC, ST, & BC cannot even dream of getting completed those formalities.
He said that such formalities are only demanded by the Bank, the mandate of these Corporations for the downtrodden community is totally failed if the Corporation also demands such formalities which the members of this poor community can’t even think of completing. |
